Diving in to Cold Waters

Well hello no one... yet :)

This is my first official "photography blog". I hope you enjoy reading about my journey into the world of photography. I'm really excited to have bought my first "nice camera"! It took awhile to decide exactly which one to buy, and I've decided on the Canon T2i. It's very beautiful and when I hold it I feel like I have a super power. A super power that allows me to capture moments that our eyes cannot. Now, I just need to learn how to use it.

Today seems like the perfect day to begin this blog because I have my first unofficial photo shoot!!! Miss Peyton Nicole turned one yesterday and today I'm going to attempt to walk out of her birthday party with a few good shots for her mom and dad to remember this monumental day! Today we celebrate one year of life and one year of new parents. Congratulations to Jeremy and Kendra! (and congrats on the first post being about you guys :) )

I hope to have pictures up from today in the next day or two. Stay tuned..
